Continuing their tradition of film-level standards and things with “True” in the title, HBO will next year premiere the new series True Detective. Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson recreate the magic chemistries of Edtv and Surfer, Dude to star as the honest-to-god detectives, while Sin Nombre and Jane Eyre director Cary Fukunaga directs. There’s not a firm air date yet, but here’s a brief teaser setting up the mystery of why Matthew McConaughey is suddenly a respectable actor doing projects you actually want to see.

Gearing up excitement for another lusty blood fest, HBO released a teaser trailer for the sixth season of “True Blood” over the weekend.

The super successful series starring Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard comes back to the airwaves on June 16.

The first teaser for the new season is a ravenous mess with spooky sound effects and talks of the human-vampire war.

“True Blood” fans can expect to see their old favorites along with a few newcomers including “Friday Night Lights” actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell and “Bladerunner” star Rutger Hauer.

Spending a sunny day at one of the most magical places on earth, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian deserve praise for their commendable deed doted upon a young lady today (March 12).

The 29 year-old songstress and her actor hubby, along with the “Wish Upon A Hero” foundation, helped make the dream of young Cadence Cogs a reality.

Cogs, who has multiple disorders including one leading to blindness, wanted to see Disneyland before she lost her eye sight completely. Miss Rimes read about the young girl’s story from a post on Twitter and flew the entire Cogs family from their Honolulu, HI home to Los Angeles for a week of fun.

The “How Do I Live” starlet took to her Twitter page after their fun experience, tweeting, “Just spent a lovely hr with the most beautiful family, the Cogs family. Cadence is a blessing. She was so wide eyed & the family so grateful! A little girl’s whole life was made today and her whole family got to share in her joy. @wishuponahero THIS is why you guys should be so proud of the organization you have created.”

With another hour of Big Apple drama just one day away, previews from Sunday night’s (December 18) all-new episode of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” give a glimpse of what’s in store.

The reality series’ latest offering titled “True Colors” features story lines including Kim finding out that a friend is penning a tell-all book about her while Scott Disick attempts to reconnect with his Jewish roots.

As for the previews, one clip shows Kourtney confiding in a close gal pal about being obsessed with the thought that her man has the fantasy of having a threesome. When asked if she’d partake, Miss Kardashian firmly responds, “No, I think it ruins relationships.”

The second promo teaser offers a look at fellow family member Kendall Jenner overcoming her nerves to walk the runway during a Sherri Hill fashion show at Trump Towers.

The final preview follows Disick and family matriarch Kris Jenner as the pair bond during a Jacob & Co. shopping excursion, during which Scott finds out that “Kris and I have a lot more in common. We’re both are superficial and tacky.”
