Of making it through the 2011 turmoil, Scarlett said, “I’ve been really fortunate. I’ve found that even in times of crisis I’ve had a lot of love around me and people have come out of all different dark corners to support (me) and that’s a really beautiful thing.”

With the full interview below, Johansson added, “I think I’ve also learned to be much more tolerant and much more patient.”

‘Troll Hunter’ in Theaters Today, Already Getting Remade

troll-hunter.jpg

This weekend, select US theaters will begin screening Troll Hunter, Norway’s troll-inclusive answer to the recent deluge of shaky-cam found footage horror films. Which is fine and all for those of us in select US cities, but what is the rest of troll-starved America to do? Yeah, watching it right now on video-on-demand or waiting for it on DVD or Netflix are a couple legitimate ideas, but producer/director Chris Columbus has another viable alternative: let’s just remake this goddammer. And so Columbus’s 1492 Pictures has partnered with CJ Entertainment & Media to buy the remake rights to director André Øvredal’s recent export.

In a statement, Columbus gave a ringing endorsement for the original, praising its visuals for going to heights even the combined imagery of Mrs. Doubtfire and Bicentennial Man never reached:

“Troll Hunter was a visceral, thrilling, cinematic rock and roller coaster ride of a movie. Visually, there are scenes in this film that American audiences have never seen. We want to introduce an international audience to this amazing moviegoing experience,” said Columbus.

You know, Chris, you could say this whole American release of the film is already introducing the international audience to this amazing moviegoing experience, but hey, whatever you want to do. Let’s hunt some trolls in English, then.

Anyway, here’s the original Troll Hunter trailer–with English subtitles that are still simply not American enough for Chris Columbus:

After a clip of Jen’s latest video, “I’m Into You,” was played on the show, Lopez told Meredith Vieira that her twins, Max and Emme, are not old enough to see that particular offering just yet.

Of the single, which features the sexy singer rolling around on a beach with a young hot male model, Jen said, “Yeah, they will not see that now. They can see that later….when they are older.”

“They will see that their mom is hot, what’s wrong with that?” she added with a laugh.
