‘Men in Black 4′ To Continue Will Smith’s Story of Demanding Larger and Larger Trailers

men-in-black-3-teaser.jpg

Though it seems that R.I.P.D. has the format pretty well covered now, Men in Black will nonetheless be getting another sequel. Or at least Sony is making the expected push for as much, hiring on The Kitchen Sink writer Oren Uziel to produce a script to make them some money on Men in Black 4 (as well as finish off the 21 Jump Street 2 script they need pretty soon here). Naturally, as Uziel’s not even begun work on the screenplay, we can for now only speculate as to how Josh Brolin’s K will somehow get time-traveled to the present. But we can say with certainty that he will have hilariously stern banter with Tommy Lee Jones K, and it will be funny when Will Smith is like, “Aw, hell, nah! This is my time period! I ain’t sittin’ in the back seat!” But then, in the next shot, he’s centered in the back seat.

Bruce Lee “Origin Story” To Just Make Everything Up

bruce-lee-argh.jpg

Exciting news for Bruce Lee fans: QED International and Groundswell Productions have announced plans for Birth of the Dragon, a Bruce Lee film unique in that it will not star Bruce Lee nor concern things Bruce Lee actually did.

Despite being described as an “origin story,” the film will not detail Lee’s upbringing, training, or entry into the world of film. After all, Jason Scott Lee already took care of that well enough. Instead, the film picks up right up after Lee’s 1965 fight against fellow martial artist Wong Jack Man, then reportedly gets bored with the facts and asks, “Wouldn’t it be cool if, after the fight, Bruce Lee teamed up with this guy to kick ass against Chinatown’s powerful Hong Kong triads?” And indeed, it would be cool if Bruce Lee did that. But maybe it’s not quite as cool if it’s just some dude calling himself Bruce Lee, doing that in a Bruce Lee origin movie that in no way reflects Bruce Lee’s actual origins. Shame, too, that we already know how it’s going to end:

’42′ Trailer: The Inspirational Story of Jackie Robinson, and Harrison Ford’s Giant Eyebrows

42-trailer.jpg

Starring Chadwick Boseman as Jackie Robinson and Harrison Ford and some eyebrow appliances as Dodgers general manager Branch Rickey, 42 tells the true story of how baseball’s color barrier was famously broken. The film also features a scene of Christopher Meloni freaking out in a kitchen, so should be equally appealing to historians of baseball, civil rights, AND Wet Hot American Summer. Classic triple threat.

Help (Jonas Sister Story S4) Chapter 10

Lizzie’s Pov: Nick: So what do you want to do? Lizzie: How about we watch a movie? Nick: Sure. Which one? Lizzie: How about Just Go With It? (A/n I was watching that today. LOVED IT!) Nick: Sure! Nick got the movie and I got the popcorn. I’m so glad Nick and I could spend more time together. I felt like my brothers would only be focusing on their girlfriends and their music. That they’d never have time for me. But I guess I was wrong. I love my brothers and I know they love me back. And nothing will ever change that. I smiled and took out the popcorn. I went to the living room and sat down next to Nick. Lizzie: Popcorn? Nick: Don’t mind if I do! He stuffed his mouth with popcorn and I giggled. Lizzie: Boys. *rolls her eyes playfully* Nick: *mouth full* Excuse you? I laughed and laid my head on his shoulder. He put his arm around me and kissed my head. We started watching the movie. *1 hour later* Haha, I love Jennifer Aniston! The movie finished and I saw Nick fell asleep. Must be opposite day. Usually I’m the one that falls asleep. Hm.. I laughed and kissed his cheek. I got the blanket and put it on him. I switched the channel to Nick and started watching Spongebob (A/n Watched that today too x) ). Hehe, I love Spongebob. I heard the door open and I turned around. Joe was home. Lizzie: Hey buddy. Where were you? Instead of a response, Joe came up to me and picked me up bridal style. He started spinning me around and then he tossed me up and down. I was screaming and

Follow Me: The Yoni Netanyahu Story — $22.8K

On July 4, 1976, Lt. Col. Yonatan Netanyahu (brother of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu) sacrificed his own life to save the lives of 103 hostages being held in a Ugandan airline terminal. He was the only soldier killed during the daring nighttime raid, but the tragedy of that loss was devastating for his family, friends, and fellow soldiers. In this documentary, filmmakers Ari Daniel Pinchot and Jonathan Gruber allow Yonatan’s own writings to tell the story of a hero whose inner conflict offered a… [more]

Tokyo Disney Ad Goes Big, Tells Life Story Through 40-Second Anime

tokyo-disney-anime.jpg

Though it’s technically an ad for Disney’s Tokyo resort, this brief commercial plays out more like the kind of touching short that would get nominated for Best Animated Short Film and lose to something Pixar knocked out. Like another Japanese-animated short we saw last month, the 40-second spot takes viewers through an entire lifetime of events, looking at a Disney fan as seen from the park where she spent her childhood, met her future husband, got married, took her children, and eventually died before the cold, unblinking eyes of a Pluto mascot head. At least I think that’s what the final shot is implying.

Kind of makes me wish all my major life events took place in a Disney resort, instead of the Target food court.

‘Amazing Spider-Man’ Poster Promises ‘Untold Story’ Definitely Not Told in 2002

amazing-spider-man-untold-story-thumb.jpg

A new poster for The Amazing Spider-Man is here, this one boldly claiming the film will provide “the untold story” of the superhero whose story was certainly never told in a Tobey Maguire film that grossed $ 821 million worldwide. Have a look.

amazing-spider-man-untold-story.jpg

See, this Spider-Man has taller hair, and he fights a reptile guy instead of a metal suit guy. Who ever told that story? Nobody ever told that story. That’s an untold story.
