Monarch butterflies: just what are those sons of bitches up to, anyway? An upcoming documentary will thankfully attempt to figure that out, getting to “the center of an age-old mystery” that you’ll just have to trust exists about these bugs in Flight of the Butterflies. Here’s the trailer, which makes a pretty convincing case for paying extra to see the film in IMAX 3D. It looks breathtaking, fascinating, and, depending on drug use and/or mental illness, possibly terrifying.

Giving eager fans a sneak peek into what they can expect from the 100th episode of “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” Shailene Woodley made a stop by MTV news on Monday (June 25) to talk about all of the juicy drama.

Opening right up about the highly anticipated episode, Woodley threw out a shocker by revealing that there may be something really unexpected going to happen, saying, “Tonight’s episode… the 100th episode? We kind of, I like to say, were channeling our inner ‘Glee’,” adding, “There might be a musical number. There might be some singing and dancing by some of the characters on the television show.”

One of the highlights in Monday night’s episode that fans are awaiting is finding out the fate of Amy (Woodley) and Ricky’s relationship and whether or not marriage is in the cards for them.

However, Shailene says the outcome may not be what you expect, explaining, “There’s a lot of shockers,” adding, “And at the end of the episode, I think some fans are going to be confused as to a decision Amy and Ricky made. There’s gonna be a shocking revelation about the wedding.”

Stepping away from the juicy details of what to expect tonight, the 20 year-old actress says the fact that the show is hitting their 100th episode is incredible. “I think we were all surprised it has lasted this long. None of us had ever done television before and I don’t think any of us knew what to expect. And the fact that it has lasted this long continues to be a shocker. I think that the themes that we deal with, although they are exaggerated, I think the themes at their core are very relatable.”

To catch the “gleeful” moments and the shocking twists, tune in for the new episode of “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” on ABC Family tonight at 8/7c.

Young Joey King, who last week casually revealed that Sam Raimi’s Oz: The Great and Powerful would shift from black & white to color, will soon be getting another call from producers who would like to scream about confidentiality clauses except that she’s just a kid.

The 13-year-old actress–whose role in The Dark Knight Rises has been closely guarded since the casting announcement–spoke exclusively to MyEntertainmentWorld.ca/MyCinema about her part in Christopher Nolan’s latest Batman film, and, well, it’s probably sort of a spoiler:

Said King:

I play young Talia al Ghul. I can’t give too much away because I promised Mr. Nolan I wouldn’t say anything. There are too many secrets about the character and the movie.

Aww, she says she promised not to say anything, but she’d already said something! Give her a sitcom!

But anyway, as you may recall, ever since Marion Cotillard’s casting in The Dark Knight Rises, pretty much everyone has been speculating that she’d be playing Talia, the daughter of Liam Neeson’s Ra’s al Ghul. Warner has insisted that her role is Wayne Enterprises board member Miranda Tate, but the fact that Batman’s taking an Indian vacation already had some of us questioning the veracity of that claim, because you can never trust The Man. King’s casting as a “young” Talia al Ghul would seem to indicate that there must, at some point, be a standard-age Talia al Ghul. So, if we use science and math to take that clue a step further, it’s looking pretty likely that Cotillard will be the one filling that part. Right?

But, hey, maybe not. I’ve been insisting on Ladyriddler the whole time, so what the fuck do I know?

She just wrapped up her first season as co-judge on the U.S. version of “The X Factor,” and Nicole Scherzinger is featured in a new beauty video via Allure.

The footage shows the Pussycat Dolls beauty getting styled up by makeup artist Brigitte Reiss-Andersen while also revealing “her must-have makeup and the key to getting her fresh glow.”

“Sometimes I like to make things a little bit more rocky, a little bit more funky. But I loved how clean the look was. I loved how chic it was and I like that they did my hair the way we did it today – I’ve never done it like that before so it added a little bit of edge,” Nicole tells during the clip.

As for the secret behind her to-die-for complexion, the 33-year-old dishes, “I think moisturizer is key for having skin with a really yummy glow and fresh and feeling young. So, I love a lot of moisturizer and I’ve been trying to stay away from the sun even though I’m who I am. I use a lot of SPF and I drink lots and lots and lots of water.”

Ending things by telling her pick if she was allowed to go out with just one beauty product, Scherzinger says, “If I were to leave the house with only one thing it’s just a little bit of eyeliner… just a little bit.”
