Looking to atone for her sins, Stevie Nicks has released a statement apologizing for her sentiments about Nicki Minaj earlier this week.

The Fleetwood Mac legend had previously declared, “How dare this little girl. . . . If I had been Mariah, I would have walked over to Nicki and strangled her to death right there. I would have killed her in front of all those people and had to go to jail for it,” after Minaj launched a verbal assault on Mariah Carey during “American Idol” auditions.

But now Stevie is sorry- she shared, “I want to apologize for my remarks about Nicki Minaj’s behavior toward Mariah Carey, which I said during a long and exhausting day of interviews.”

“It was very out of character for me and I deeply regret what I said,” added Nicks, who served as a mentor on “Idol” during Season 11.

After months of speculation and rumors, the “American Idol” judges’ table has finally taken shape.

Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj have officially been signed to join Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson on the show.

This isn’t the first judging gig for the country star, he recently left his position on Australia’s version of “The Voice.” He excitedly tweeted this morning, “SO excited to be joining the team on ‪@AmericanIdol!!!!!! -KU ‪#idoljudges.”

Equally excited was the “Starships” singer, who tweeted, “New York auditions today & tomorrow! See ya there barbz!!!!!!!!! #AmericanIdol :p.”

The announcement was made by Fox this morning when all four judges are set to appear at auditions in New York (September 16). Host Ryan Seacrest posted a photo to Twitter of the new judges and crew of the show.

According to producer Simon Fuller, “With the exciting addition of Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj, alongside Randy Jackson, “American Idol”’s star power has never been so great.”

The 29-year-old star shared the video just one day after her video with B.o.B for “Out of My Mind” was transferred through the airwaves.

On Thursday night, the “Superbass” rapper tweeted, “Ok barbz, #iamyourleadervideo premieres tomorrow on vevo,” getting fans excited for the reveal.
