Joss Whedon has confirmed that The Avengers 2 will not see Loki fully rehabilitated and ready to party with all his new best friends. Loki won’t be in there at all, in fact. Speaking to Empire, the writer-director explained that he fears the inclusion of Loki would just have everyone waiting for the character to finally spout his hilarious catchphrase, saying:

“Everyone is going to be looking for the Loki-Hulk smash moment and you’ll be looking for [a "mewling quim" moment]. First of all, imitating what I did before is the surest way to do it not as well. Second of all, Loki’s not there to say those terrible things.”

You’re right about that, Whedon. But since it increasingly seems the reason Loki is there is to sit around in a transparent prison cell, maybe he could still come back for some gritty, Oz-style intros?

Question by Bud: Why don’t they start putting new releases and more movies on net flicks streaming?
I mean its the way of the future there is no reason to be a slow poke with it!

I don’t even use netflicks for the stupid mailing movies. I am not like hmmmmm I wanna watch a movie tommarow. I wanna see it now!

Mainly because they want to make more money. New releases at movie rental places always cost more than the older titles. If it is a popular movie and they are still making a decent amount on it in the rental locations, then they will want to maintain that, not have that money taken away by online viewing. If you notice, the online viewing selection is mainly old movies, or movies that didn’t have a lot of hype. If it’s really popular, it takes quite a while for it to reach the instant viewing.

It sucks for those of us who want to just watch it now, but it’s how it works. There are even people who wouldn’t be too thrilled with it anyway since some don’t like watching things on their computer screen.

I have some clothing and it comes in a blue box with the image of Madonna and child on it. I was told it is possibly from the 40′s.

Well it might not help, but Madonna and her child, lola, have a clothing line called Material Girl at Macy’s It was launched in August. You can find more about it on Macy’s.com

Question by Hollywood Jono: Why do older movies released on blu ray tend to be more expensive than newer releases?
In some cases you could end up paying close to $ 30 or even beyond for a movie that first came out 20 something years ago just now coming out on blu ray than blu ray releases of more recent movies from the last 5-6 years. Why does this often tend to be the case? FYI, the movie is also available at bargain basement prices on standard DVD.

because it was not filmed in high definition, it has to be digitally mastered
