Zooey Deschanel Covers Glamour February 2013

With her hit Fox series “New Girl” all set to resume its second season on January 8th, Zooey Deschanel garnered herself a little welcome attention by covering the February 2013 issue of Glamour magazine.

The soon-to-be 33-year-old actress looked fashionably fabulous in a Prabal Gurung dress with a Louis Vuitton necklace for the Ellen von Unwerth shot front page while joined by Miley Cyrus’ ex model flame, Justin Gaston, in the accompanying feature spread.

Meanwhile, a few tidbits from Miss Deschanel’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Glamour!

On working on her own terms:
“I just realized I am happier and do better work if I’m doing what I believe in.”

On not shying away from voicing her thoughts:
“I’ve never had a problem saying my opinions about things,” she said, adding, “I never stop myself from doing something because I’m afraid of what people might think.”

On getting along with other gals:
“I did go through this period where girls would be mean and I had a lot of guy friends. But I’ve found as an adult the importance of having female and male friends.”

Emma Watson Covers Glamour UK October 2012

With her new movie “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” set to hit theaters on September 21st, Emma Watson garnered herself a little added exposure by covering the October 2012 issue of Glamour UK magazine.

The 22-year-old “Harry Potter” actress looked darling in a Zac Posen dress for the Vincent Peters shot front page while dishing about everything from

Highlights from Miss Watson’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Glamour UK!

On her favorites in fashion:
“My all-time favorites are probably the white Alexander McQueen dress I wore to the Empire Awards and the vintage Ossie Clark dress I found in a shop around the corner from my house…”

On being comfortable in her own skin:
“I’ve accepted my body shape more as I’ve got older. I went through a stage of wanting to have that straight-up-and-down model look, but I have curves and hips, and in the end you have to accept yourself as you are. My weight has fluctuated between a size 6 and a 10. When you’re growing, your body is still figuring itself out and it takes a while to settle down. I keep telling myself that I’m a human being, an imperfect human being who’s not made to look like a doll, and that who I am as a person is more important than whether at that moment I have a nice figure.”

On her upsettedness over girls feeling pressure over their weight:
“It makes me sad to hear girls constantly putting themselves down. We have these unbelievably high expectations of ourselves, when actually we’re human beings and out bodies have a function. We say that the pressure is coming from men but actually it’s from each other. I think women feel so much pressure these days and it can turn us against each other. But we really damage our own confidence when we put ourselves down, so I try not to.”

On relationships:
“I wish someone had told me at 15: ‘You accept the love that you think you deserve.’ I would have approached my relationships completely differently if they had. I like this idea of quality control – that we don’t have to accept just anyone into our lives. People talk about love as though it just happens to you – as though you’re a victim in it all, when actually you can make good choices and bad. But women have a natural tendency to want to nurture and take care of men. I tend to date people who are quite introspective. I like deep thinkers.”

Blake Lively: More Gucci Premiere Glamour

Adding even more glamour to the swanky pre-release promotions, another shot from the Blake Lively-fronted Gucci Première Fragrance campaign has hit the Web.

Looking effortlessly timeless in the black and white Mert and Marcus print, the beautiful blonde channels old Hollywood, with full, flowing loclks and a low-back, sequined frock. Additionally, a sleek and sophisticated bottle of the perfume takes center stage.

The new snapshot follows the recent sneak peek release of Gucci Première’s Nicolas Winding Refn-directed short film promo for the scent.

As for her role as the face of the brand’s new fragrance, Miss Lively told press, “Gucci is a staple. It is a brand I have always looked up to because to me it represents strength. In their designs, in their images, in what they stand for philanthropically, and especially in their fragrance. I couldn’t be more proud to be working with Gucci and its heart, Frida.”

Rita Ora Talks Beyonce, Jay-Z & Rob Kardashian with Glamour

She’s making quite the name for herself in the music world, and Rita Ora scored herself a feature in the new issue of Glamour magazine.

The 21-year-old British singer-songwriter donned casually chic denim ensembles for the elegant Patrick Demarchelier shot spread lining the pages while dishing about everything from dealing with paparazzi to those pesky Rob Kardashian romance rumors.

Highlights from Miss Ora’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Glamour!

On meeting Jay-Z:
“I was straight off the plane from London with rained-on hair! I think if I’d known that I’d be meeting him, I would have freaked out. Now he’s like my brother.”

On meeting Beyonce:
“Destiny’s Child was my band. I was nearly choking when I met her, but she is the nicest. I call her an alien because I’m like, ‘How do you do everything at once? You can’t be human.'”

On Rob Kardashian romance rumors:
“Rob’s family make their lives public. Me? I’m very private. He’s a great friend. But the only relationship I’m having now is with the tour bus.”

On whether she’s ready to deal with paparazzi and fame:
“I don’t really care as long as my album is on your shelf and you’re smiling.”

Max Greenfield Dishes the “Three Do’s” for Glamour August 2012

Although he’s busy all summer long with his hit show “New Girl”, Max Greenfield took a break from playing Schmidt to dish about what men notice about women’s style in the August 2012 issue of Glamour magazine.

Hitting newsstands nationwide on July 10th, the 31-year-old actor looked handsome in Isaac Mizrahi, American Apparel and Dsquared2 apparel for the Jennifer Livingston shot spread lining the pages while talking about the “Three Do’s” every woman should know.

Highlights from Mr Greenfield’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Glamour!

On putting your best “shoe” forward:
“If you’re going to buy really expensive shoes, don’t get something classic. Have fun. Go on—make some color choices.”

On flattering your body with the right clothing:
“Rag & Bone makes a women’s blazer that fits like a gem. My wife has a couple, and, man, she should wear ’em every day.”

On bringing your A-game to every date:
“A guy wants a lady to show up looking like she made an effort, because he’s spent at least an hour in the bathroom with products and the outfit.”

Nicole Richie’s Stylish Glamour June 2012 Feature

She’s in the midst of the debut season of her new NBC series “Fashion Star” and, to help draw attention, Nicole Richie landed herself a feature in the June 2012 issue of Glamour magazine.

The 30-year-old fashionista donned designer beachwear including a yellow Martin Grant top with a Agnès B bikini and an orange Winter Kate dress with a House of Harlow 1960 chocker for the elegant Patric Shaw shot spread lining the pages.

Meanwhile, highlights from Miss Richie’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Glamour!

On whether husband Joel Madden notices when she changes her hair:
“Joel noticed this Valentine’s Day that I had bangs. He looked at me and was like, ‘You got bangs, I see.’ I was like, ‘I’ve had bangs since I was 22 years old!’ [Laughs.]”

On whether she thinks of herself as a trendsetter:
“No! [Laughs.] My world is small. I have my circle of 10 friends, my kids, my family. None of them call me a trendsetter.”

On advice for women starting their own business:
“Study your craft. Know it well before you jump in. I wait all the time. Because I don’t want to just put my name on something and then release it. What’s the point of that?”

Jennifer Lopez Covers Glamour UK June 2012

She’s wrapping up another season of “American Idol”, just announceed a tour with Enrique Iglesias and is readying for the May 18th release of her new movie, but Jennifer Lopez somehow managed to find time to partake in a cover girl gig for the June 2012 issue of Glamour UK.

Decked out in an Enza Coasta vest teamed with a Salvatore Ferragamo bandeau top and a Chris Benz skirt, the 42-year-old superstar worked it for the Matthias Vriens-McGrath shot spread while opening up about topics including cosmetic surgery, raising twins and relationships.

Highlights from Miss Lopez’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Glamour UK!

On raising twins Max and Emme:
“It takes a village – you do really learn what that means when you have kids. It’s a juggling act, just like any single mom. They just started sachool, three days a week. I have to travel without them here and there, so it’s really important they’re surrounded by family when I’m not there. They come first, though. I like to wake up with them. I like to put them to bed. That’s how we do it so they feel loved, happy and what they are – the most important thing in my life.”

On starting a relationship:
“You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else.”

On the importance of keeping new relationships out of the spotlight:
It matters. Especially at the beginning of a relationship. To give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye. The media, they wantto rush everything. Give their seedy opinions without knowing all the facts.”

On cosmetic surgery:
I’d like to think I’ll age gracefully, but then I think, ‘Well, what if I do want a little bit of something?’

Rachel McAdams Covers Glamour February 2012

Fresh off of the release of her new movie “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,” Rachel McAdams brings her charm to the cover of the February 2012 issue of Glamour magazine.

Clad in a Mavi shirt and Dolce & Gabbana shorts, the 33-year-old Canadian actress dolls up the Alexei Hay shot front page while opening up in the featured article about topics including her experience as a McDonald’s employee and past crushes on soap stars, as well as Josh Brolin.

Highlights from Rachel’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to visit Glamour!

On whether she gets involved in creating her characters’ looks:
“Yeah, I love those preliminary conversations about who a character is. You try on wigs, shoes and clothes. It’s preferable when it’s not about looking pretty. It can get a little dull to just be cute. We talk about things like, maybe my character can’t afford these Christian Louboutins. [The stylist] will say, ‘No one will notice.” And I’m like, “Everyone knows that red-bottom shoe!'”

On whether playing serious or playing silly is more difficult:
“I think playing silly. I’m very silly as a person, but quality silliness on-screen has more of an art to it. Harrison Ford, whom I was in Morning Glory with, has mastered that dry funny better than anyone.”

On whether she worked at McDonald’s:
“Yeah, for a good three years. My sister and brother worked there. My sister was my manager! It was a great place to work, but I had a little bit of an OCD thing with hand washing and just didn’t have time. They were like, “Hey, the drive-through’s backing up. Stop washing your hands!” I was not a great employee; I broke the orange juice machine one day.”

On her all-time favorite romantic movie:
“Just one?! In the Mood for Love, Giant, Days of Heaven and the Russian film Burnt by the Sun. I can’t choose just one.”

On crushes she’s had on actors:
“I loved soap operas when I was young, so Antonio Sabato Jr. and Maurice Benard from General Hospital. And who could forget Josh Brolin in The Goonies?”

On what she’d do if she wasn’t acting?
“I wouldn’t mind running a restaurant. I’m not an amazing cook, but I can follow a recipe.”
