Nicole Kidman Toasted at 2012 New York Film Festival

Basking in the glory of her hard-earned work in film, Nicole Kidman was the guest of honor at a gala tribute held as part of the 50th annual New York Film Festival on Wednesday (October 3).

The Aussie-American actress looked gorgeous in a bright red frock while being escorted around the Lincoln Center venue by her country music star hubby, Keith Urban.

As for the festivities, Nicole took the stage for a one on one conversation on her career while spectators had the treat of watching private screening of her latest film, “The Paperboy.”

Speaking about why the 45 year-old star was the perfect honoree, Film Society of Lincoln Center program director Richard Peña said in a statement, “Nicole Kidman is one of film’s finest contemporary actresses.”

“Since her breakthrough performance in “To Die For,” and her bold and provocative appearances in Lars Von Trier’s “Dogville,” Stanley Kubrick’s “Eyes Wide Shut,” as well as her awarding-winning portrayal of Virginia Woolf in Stephen Daldry’s “The Hours,” Kidman has insisted on finding roles that are complex, bold and demanding. We are excited to honor her with a tribute at the New York Film Festival,” Pena added.

P!nk Takes Flight at the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival

Bringing her sound to the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the second night in a row, P!nk was back in action as she took the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival stage in Las Vegas on Saturday (September 22).

The 33-year-old donned a sheer blue sleeveless top with a ruffled black skirt while treating the audience to a lively musical effort with theatrics including an airborn spectacle in which she glided above the stage.

Prior to taking the stage, P!nk chatted with iHeartRadio staffers while confessing that she’s not really as tough as she looks, instead saying, “I’m a petite tulip!”

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the “So What” hitmaker made a surprise appearance on Friday night during No Doubt’s set during which she shared a big smooch with the Anaheim rock band’s frontwoman Gwen Stefani.

Rihanna Closes Out Day One of the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival

Chosen to close out what was quite the star-studded night of performances, Rihanna wrapped up Day One of the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday (September 21).

With her set kicking off right around midnight, the Barbadian beauty preceded her stage effort with short and to the point tweet reading, “#3words I.HEART.RADIO.”

Scantily clad in a sparkly #23 jersey mini dress, RiRi treated MGM Grand Garden Arena audience members to an array of her past and present hits including opener “Only Girl (In The World),” followed by “Birthday Cake,” “Talk That Talk,” “Run This Town,” “What’s My Name” and “Live Your Life.”

The iHeart appearance comes just as it was revealed that the 24-year-old has teamed up with Ne-Yo for at least one track on her upcoming album.

While RIhanna has remained mum on the expected November disc, Ne-Yo gabbed about the collaboration with Rap-Up, as he dished, “I was just recently in the studio doing some stuff with Rihanna. The thing is, I never know what’s going to be kept, what she’s going to hold onto, what’s going to fall by the wayside… I know I got one or two on the album that she’s definitely keeping, but the rest is to be determined.”
