Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Close Out Coachella

Drawing an end to what was quite the weekend, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted trekking through the crowds at the 2012 Coachella Valeey Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California on Sunday night (April 22).

Joined by a few friends, the “Breaking Dawn” co-stars were side-by-side at the Empire Polo Club venue, but quickly split apart from one another upon a paparazzo’s arrival.

As for Coachellla’s second weekend closing lineup, Rob and Kristen were treated to performances by acts including Florence + the Machine, The Hives, At The Drive-In and a night-capping effort by Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg.

Having been situated at the annual outdoor celebration for the past few days, Pattinson and Stewart reportedly had quite the romantic moment on Saturday night.

Of the scene, a source told Celebuzz, ”They were kissing and holding hands during Radiohead, swaying and singing along to parts [of the songs.].”

‘Avengers’ Will Close Tribeca Film Festival

avengers-german-trailer.jpg

Having long ago shrugged off any snobbish pretense through screenings of Attack of the Clones, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and Spider-Man 3, the Tribeca Film Festival will once again conclude its events with some crowd-pleasing CGI spectacle. According to the official festival release, the 11th annual event will be closed by Marvel’s The Avengers.

“Showing at Tribeca is both an honor and a double homecoming for me, who grew up in Manhattan, and for the movie, which wrapped production there,” said director Joss Whedon, conveniently leaving out how most of the New York scenes were actually shot in Cleveland, Ohio. “I’m thoroughly psyched to be closing the festival with our intimate little think-piece.”

“Marvel’s The Avengers is an exciting ride that absolutely transports audiences,” said Tribeca co-founder Jane Rosenthal. “It is the perfect way to end our 11th Festival.”

Hulk will mark the festival’s close by symbolically tearing the shit out of a building on April 28.
