From the album Single White Female. Single White Female is the fourth studio album by Chely Wright. The album’s title track became Wright’s first and only Number One hit on the Billboard country charts. “It Was” peaked at #11 on the same chart, while “She Went Out for Cigarettes” failed to make Top 40. Also included on this album is “The Love That We Lost”, which Wright had previously recorded on her 1996 album Right in the Middle of It. “The Fire” was later covered by Mindy McCready on her 2002 self-titled album.
