Pregnant Megan Fox & Birthday Boy Brian’s Spiritual Celebration
Said to be a mere 2-3 months away from welcoming a bundle of joy into the world, Megan Fox showed off her burgeoning baby bump while out on Sunday (July 15) to attend mass service with her family soon-to-be expanded family.
Covering her temporary curves under a long black maxi dress with her favorite wedge heels, the 26-year-old’s outing with husband Brian Austin Green and son Kassius was extra special as the trio also happened to be celebrating the former “Beverly Hills, 90210″ star’s 39th birthday.
The celebratory day of spirituality comes as a welcome break from current legal drama for Green and Fox – as the pair recently filed a legal response to photographer Delbert Shaw’s lawsuit claiming that Brian both threatened and assaulted him for taking snaps during a family vacation.
Reports tell that the Hollywood couple “categorically deny” the story as presented by Shaw, with Green instead telling that they “were forced to defend themselves from Plaintiff.”
Adding that their accuser “has a long history of altercations with his subjects and even his fellow paparazzi,” Megan and Brian are currently awaiting a court ruling on the matter.
Katy Perry’s SHOREbar 4th of July Celebration
Getting into the patriotic vibe, Katy Perry hit up the SHOREbar in Santa Monica for some Independence Day action last night (July 4).
The “Hot N Cold” songstress looked a bit worn out as she made her exit from the establishment, where she’d been hanging out with fellow celebrities like Lindsay Lohan.
Katy was also featured as a performer on the “Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular” that aired last night on NBC.
Of her song “Firework,” Perry explained, “‘Firework’ the song, is inspired by literal fireworks. They always make you excited and they’re glittering and sparkling and that’s the kind of person I want to be.”
As for her new 3D film “Katy Perry: Part of Me,” Katy’s directors Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz told press they never doubted the importance of leaving her high-profile divorce from Russell Brand in the movie.
Dan began, “There was never really any discussion of taking out the scenes that are a bit more emotional, maybe a bit more difficult, a bit harder to watch sometimes. I think it was important to Katy. People knew what she went through was not easy for her, and to make it look like it was would have been untruthful, and that’s not her way. So there was really no discussion about not including it.”
“This movie captures an amazing moment in time. When she started out on the tour, she probably didn’t think it was going to be what it was going to be. The year was filled with five #1 singles, the highest point of her career, and an emotional heartbreak, so I think the two of those together make for an incredible film,” added Lipsitz.
Katie Holmes to Co-Host Dizzy Feet Foundation’s ‘Celebration of Dance’
Taking a solo stroll in the city, Katie Holmes was spotted leaving her Big Apple apartment on Saturday morning (June 23).
The 33-year-old actress looked stunning in a teal skirt with a striped sweater as she made her way through the New York City streets, this time without her little buddy Suri Cruise.
In other news, the “Batman Begins” star recently announced that she will co-host the Dizzy Feet Foundation’s second “Celebration of Dance” Gala on July 28 in Los Angeles, CA.
The former dancer is one of the founders of the organization, which “supports, improves, and increases access to dance education in the United States.”
It will take place at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and feature performances from the stars of “So You Think You Can Dance”, “ Dancing with the Stars”, “ Step Up Revolution”, The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, and the American Ballet Theatre.
