As she gets into promotional mode coinciding with the upcoming “Underworld Awakening” theatrical release date, Kate Beckinsale graces the cover of the January 2012 issue of ELLE Canada.

The 38-year-old English actress adorns the magazine’s front page with a title line reading “Kate Beckinsale: Why She’s Hotter Than Ever” followed by a short quote from Kate telling,”I have a disobedient streak.”

Inside the issue, Miss Beckinsale pretties up ELLE Canada’s latest installment while styled by Taylor Jacobson in a blue Vionnet dress, a Broken English black diamond ring and earrings, Amrapali bracelets and Ferragamo heels.

She also dished about her possible career moves aside from acting, saying, “I have always wanted to be a writer and still sort of harbour that ambition.”
