Dolling up for one of country music’s biggest weekends, Carrie Underwood was on hand for press duties on Saturday (March 31) on the eve of the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

The gorgeous songstress looked fabulous in a simple black dress and heels while greeting fans and signing autographs in Las Vegas’ Westwood One Remotes room.

Miss Underwood has been taking to her Twitter page over the past few days, keeping her fans and followers updated on the weekend activities, at one point writing, “Helloooooo Las Vegas! It’s good to be back! Got my dresses and I’m ready to get my #ACM on!”

“Vegas is hot! Rehearsals yesterday went great! Did another fitting for dresses. I see yellow in my future!,” Carrie later added.

Nabbing as much press as she can prior to dropping her new album this Tuesday (April 3), Nicki Minaj brought her colorful self to Nickelodeon’s 25th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (March 31).

The “Starships” hitmaker happily mingled amongst the young crowd at the USC Galen Center while gearing up for the fun-filled evening in the spotlight.

As for her appearance, Miss Minaj joined alongside “The Hunger Games” actor Josh Hutcherson with the pair helping out by announcing one of the evenings big winners.

Speaking of which, triumphant stars during the 2012 KCAs included the usual favorites – as Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez took home Favorite Male and Female singer honors, respectively, while First Lady Michelle Obama doted country star Taylor Swift with The Big Help award for her work with tornado and flood survivors in the US, as well as for her ability to inspire her fans to do their part, too.

She’s got quite the night lying ahead, and Katy Perry looked ready to get things underway as she arrived at Nickelodeon’s 25th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday evening (March 31).

The 27-year-old pop star rocked her typical unique style while clad in a neon green tummy-baring tank top and sporting a colorful ponytail as she joined alongside fellow attendees such as Jada Pinkett Smith at the USC Galen Center venue.

As for the evening agenda, Miss Perry is among the performers set to take the stage while also a multi-nominee – as she’s up for Favorite Female Singer, Favorite Song (Firework) and Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie for her work in “The Smurfs”.

Meanwhile, the 2012 KCAs are being hosted by Will Smith while airing live on Nickelodeon beginning at 8/7c.

It’s one of country music’s biggest nights, and this weekend the Academy Of Country Music Awards will have an added special bonus.

Engaged couple Christina Davidson and Frank Tucci will exchange vows on stage and get married while Martina McBride and Train’s Pat Monahan sing “Marry Me.”

Both Christina and Frank lost their previous spouses to death, and through mutual support have been able to heal and fall in love all over again.

Tucci told press, “Getting married at the ACM Awards would share our story with so many people and let so many people see that as bad as…something can be that there’s always–no matter what it is–a chance to make it better. There’s always light at the end of the tunnel…This can really give a lot of people hope.”

Making a gorgeous arrival, Olivia Wilde was seen entering the the 2012 Jameson Empire Awards in London, England on Sunday (March 25).

The “Tron” actress looked stunning as she posed for photographers in a full length silver gown and black clutch before heading into the show’s drink reception at the Grosvenor House.

The awards show outing comes just as the sexy 28 year-old graces the cover of British GQ magazine’s April 2012 issue.

In an interview with the UK publication, Wilde dishes about wanting to branch out into another part of the business that she has always been excited about, saying, “I wanted to be on ‘Saturday Night Live’ since I was 10.”

She continued, “My father took me to a live taping on my birthday. Chris Farley was still in the cast and at the after party he had a brownie-eating contest. It became, like, a very valuable, powerful moment in my childhood. Seeing the energy of ‘SNL’ made me want to be a part of it.”

Miss Wilde also opened up about her sexuality, explaining, “I was very sexually mature at a very young age. I was very comfortable with it and talking about it, and once someone hears a young woman speak candidly about sexuality, it’s like, ‘Whoa!’ You get labeled.”

Though her sexuality is something she’s comfortable with, Olivia admitted that sometimes it can be a hinder when it comes to certain job opportunities, explaining why “Lovelace” wasn’t meant for her by telling, “I pulled out of the Linda Lovelace biopic. I decided that it should go to someone who is not already sexualized by the public. Linda Lovelace was an innocent. Amanda [Seyfried] will do an amazing job.”

Bringing her energy to the German spectacle, Katy Perry was among the stars joining in on the 2012 Echo Awards on Thursday night (March 22).

Held at Palais am Funkturm in Berlin, the 27-year-old turned up on the arrivals carpet in a shimmering silver Paco Rabanne dress paired with Louboutin heels while tweeting prior to showtime, “Hello Berlin! Very happy to see your electric beauty again .”

Among the performers gracing the stage during the course of the music showcase, Miss Perry changed into a curve-hugging silver catsuit while treating the audience to a rendition of her new single “Part of Me”.

The appearance comes despite the fact that Katy wasn’t among the nominees, though she was happy to be a part of the German awards ceremony which also featured performances by Lana Del Rey, Sean Paul, Goyte and Kimbraand.
