Green Acres is joining the likes of Bewitched, Car 54, Where Are You, and the upcoming Gilligan’s Island and Mr. Ed as a horrible idea for a movie that we’ll do anyway. According to Deadline, the rights have been acquired for the late ’60s sitcom, and producers are currently shopping it to directors and writers who would like their name on a Green Acres movie.
For those who haven’t seen enough TV Land, the series starred Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor as a Manhattan couple who move to the country when Albert’s Oliver realizes that he wants to be a farmer and also doesn’t care about his wife’s needs or desires. Ha-ha, classic!

According to a screenshot obtained by TMZ, the 19-year-old crooner wrote, “And to those comparing me to Lindsey [sic] Lohan, look at her 2012 tax statements ;).”
Right after posting the pic, Justin backtracked by removing it and putting a more generic post in its place.
TMZ reports that Lohan was “appalled” by the Bieb’s “senseless and mean” diss and was confused as to why he would single her out.
Meanwhile, Justin reportedly told the publication, “My post was only up for a few minutes. But I realized right away that what I said at the end was wrong and distracted from what I was trying to say. I immediately deleted it and rewrote it so it would show what I was really feeling and those words are up now.”
Widely acknowledged as one of our best humans, Gary Oldman has naturally been selected to lead the species of man in Matt Reeves’ Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. He’s joining Zero Dark Thirty‘s Jason Clarke and Let Me In‘s Kodi-Smit McPhee in the film, and he’ll reportedly be taking on the new role of Dreyfus, head of man’s resistance against the ape menace. Of course, as we know from the original installment of Planet of the Apes, that fight probably won’t go so well for him, but still, always enjoyable to see Oldman, if even just until a gorilla tears his arms out.
Is Netflix a greedy corporation that is stealing from the American people? How would you argue against this?
Question by Lance: Is Netflix a greedy corporation that is stealing from the American people? How would you argue against this?
I like Netflix, but a friend of mine said “Screw netflix, theyre just another greedy corporation stealing from the american people. Lets see some job growth to accompany that 60% price hike. Oh thats right you dont need to, your an online company that doesnt need to answer to anyone as long as you keep your customer help line understaffed.”
I’m asking for advice on a good, intelligent response?

In The Loneliest Planet, Gael Garcia Bernal and Hani Furstenberg play a young engaged couple that hire a guide and explore Georgia’s Caucasus Mountains, having just the kind of beautiful adventure the Georgia Tourist Bureau advertised in their “See Georgia! (Not the state)” campaign. UNTIL, that is, a brief but important gesture drives a wedge in the relationship and, per the official synopsis, “threatens to undo everything the couple believed about each other and about themselves.” Naturally, this trailer does not spoil what said gesture is, but it does do a nice job setting up the dramatic shift in tone from carefree travelogue to on-edge dissonance. You’ll just have to imagine what the gesture could be, and whether or not it involves Gael Garcia Bernal announcing a bathroom break by verbally spelling out “BRB.”
Guys, I think the loneliest planet might be Earth.
Right after Kim Kardashian was “flour bombed” on the red carpet during the launch of her perfume, True Reflection, she said she wasn’t going to press charges against the attacker. ut now she’s reconsidering.
In an interview following the prank, the reality star told E! news, “I said earlier no I wasn’t [going to file a complaint], I am just going to think about it, because I don’t want someone to think they can really get away with that. So we are going to handle that.”
Immediately following the incident, Miss Kardashian gracefully walked off the red carpet covered in cooking powder and returned for more pics alongside her mom, Kris Jenner, who praised her daughter by saying, “I am so proud of my daughter for handling the situation last night so professionally and with such poise! Kim wasn’t phased by the attack and simply walked away from the red carpet, brushed herself off and headed right back out!!”
The attacker was detained and then released, but could soon face harsh consequences after making Kim feel threatened, as she explained what ran through her mind, saying, “I think, ‘What if that was some other substance? What if that person had a dangerous weapon?’ It’s scary. And what’s even scarier is this woman acted as if she was a part of the press, she just came out of nowhere! And so we are definitely changing things up a little bit, amping up security, taking some measures, and…I’m gonna definitely deal with it because it is not acceptable.”
