After years of appearing in 2D mostly only on jean jackets, Mickey Mouse is returning to the format for 19 new retro shorts set to appear on Disney Channel and Disney.com. The cartoons each take the character to a new international locale, and you can watch the first of the series below. Titled “Croissant de Triomphe,” this one sees a Parisian Mickey attempting to deliver a croissants, all while facing classic French obstacles, like the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe, and an uppity sense of superiority.
