Michael was predicted to win all these medals in 2008 and he did it! He has the goods to back them up. And I love the fact that he sees himself as a normal guy and not the greatest Olympian that’s ever lived. That’s humilty. So what if he smoke a little pot? Give the guy a break. He is the greatest swimmer that ever was and ever will be. He’s one of my heros. ‘Nuff said. Go Michael.. God bless

I think that’s one of the reasons he’s placed alongside Jordan, Tiger, ect. he’s not so cocky and is laid back and just plain humble, thats what makes him so great.

hell definetley keep everything in check for himself. im going to rome next year the same time the swimming championships are there

i love how laid back and down to earth he is. you dont find many 23 year olds with such drive and motivation like michael! and i love how when matt asks him what he would say if he wrote is own article on the last day of of the olympics in beijing and politely leaves no comment. what sportsmanship and poise. OH GOD IM IN LOVE WITH THE MAN!!!IM A HUGE PHELPS PHAN AND ALWAYS WILL BE <3<3<3<3<3<3
yea lol and in one of the beijing olympic games one of the commentaters said that they had been in an argument and were giving eachother the silent treatment like an old married couple
i love it when he says “it makes you feel good” and then laughs at 1:40. he is such a amazing athlete and he has been my inspiration for forever! i am a HUGE PHELPS PHAN!!!
